Eco-environment protection, Refuse to waste, Start from me

Dear friends:
The United Nations food and agriculture organization issued a statement on June 13, 2012,which points out that the amount of food waste every year all over the world reached 1.3 billion tons.If a quarter of these food can be saved,it will be sufficient to feed about 900 million hungry people currently all over the world.Our International College is the college with a global vision and cultivate talents all over the world. As teachers and students belong to this college, each of us should have sense of advocating diligent and thrifty, to form high sense of responsibility of a good atmosphere which is stop to waste. For the sake of our beautiful future,hereby issued “clear your plate” campaign proposal:
1、Cherish food,order moderately,avoid leftover,reduce extravagance.
2、Go to bed 5 minutes earlier everyday, save electricity for half an hour, economize energy and add some green for the earth.
3、Remind family and friends around you to prevent the phenomenon of waste.
4、Donate your needless things and give them to people in need.
5、Centralized recycle the recoverable waste, contribute to eco-environment protection.
“Clear your plate” campaign embodies everyone’s quality and responsibility. We are the master of the earth, everyone should start from now, start from life habit,begin with the subtle things and saving food,endeavor to be the disseminator, practitioners and fugleman of environmental protection, participate into the “Clear your plate” campaign with practical action,let thrift lead the fashion and make due contribution to construct civilized,harmony,environmental earth environment.
