On 23rd May, the preliminaries of the sixth CCTV "Chinese bridge" contest held in Zhejiang University of Technology. ZAFU selected 6 contestants for the competition,among which one contestant has successfully got through the prelinminaries and will take part in the national finals on behalf of Zhejiang province with the other 5 excellent contestants from other universities in the province.
This time there were 68 contestants in total from 19 different universities taking part in the preliminaries.The 6 contestants from ZAFU are respectively Alina Isaieva, Kateryna Maslii,Mariia Timotiyevych,Joshua Ling Howe Kai,Gilles Moutanda and Gilang Ginanjar Habibie.They all performed well while Alina Isaieva performed outstandingly and got the qualification for the advance to the next round.
　This is the first time for ZAFU to take part in the competition. To encourage students to participate in the competition, the college widely promote the program and actively organized students to sign up for the contest. As part of serial preparation, the college also offered a full range of intensive training for the 6 participators.The contestants all expressed that this contest not only put to test what they have learned in China, but also further promote and deepen their understanding about Chinese culture.
