In our university's 2012 Football Match, IC football team, composed of international students, went all out in work, through five successive games，finally won the runner-up. It is the best record and highest honour IC have ever gained for sports games. Compared with other colleges, IC has fewer students and less time for training, but the team members have dogged will to fight with favourable playing conditions, bearing the pain caused by the sports, launched one and another shock to the final victory, and at last won the silver medal.

In these days, all faculty and staff of IC actively participate the activities, they organized cheering squad led by the leader of the college, support the football team with all-round offering including logistics services, mental stimulation and coaching. All this insured the football team members’ skills and tactics playing in good ways which makes a solid foundation for the victory.

IC has been always paid highly attention to the activities which can let overseas students integrate into China’s culture and the campus life. It uses all kinds of method to create a suitable atmosphere and environment for overseas students to study, live and grow. The purpose of organizing the students to join this game is to rich the overseas students’ extracurricular life, and as the matter of fact, this activity has greatly increased the understanding and friendship between Chinese and international students while at the same time deepened the feelings and friendships between the teachers and students of IC. All this will add new elements for IC to harmoniously develop faster and better!
