Each semester, the International College of ZAFU organizes language-teaching classes at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. Students are classified by taking a proficiency test. A class is usually composed of 20-30 students. The spring semester starts from late February and the autumn semester from early or middle September. A semester usually consists of 18 weeks with16-20 class hours of language courses per week. Electives are offered for students to choose from one to three courses according to the students’ interest and Chinese capacity.

International scholarship students who have been approved to study at ZAFU for a language program must participate in an Annual Review. Full Scholarship means scholarship worth total of the standard tuition. Half Scholarship means scholarship worth half of the standard tuition. |

Certificates
Non-degree candidates will receive a certificate of graduation if they have successfully completed their studies and passed the required examinations. Short-term students and students who failed or withdraw from a program will receive a certificate of study.
Application Deadline
Applications for admission are accepted from:
1. March 1 to July 31 for fall semester;
2. September 1 to January 31 for spring semester.
Applicant should complete the application process as early as possible, as an early application often yields an early decision.
Please note that incomplete application materials or application without application fee will not be processed. All the application materials would not be returned. The application fee is not refundable.
