Zhejiang A & F University (ZAFU) is able to provide an exclusive Chinese culture-oriented study tour program, thanks to its ideal geogra phic location in the Yangtze River Delta.This program can take you to Hangzhou, the city of paradise;Shanghai, the hub of trade, finance and information;Huangshan mountain, a scenic spot well-known internationally, and many tourist spots within Zhejiang province.ZAFU has distinguished itself in fields of tea culture, bamboo industry and landscape design on account that ZAFU is the only university that features agriculture and forestry in Zhejiang province.ZAFU could design a special schedule and determine the study period according to different requests. Participants will be enthralled by the unique knowledge and fantastic trips offered by ZAFU.

The Category of Study Tour Program

1.Lanuage & Culture Immersion Study Tour

2.Characteristic Study Tour (Tea,Bamboo,Landscape)

3.Tailored-made Study Tour

Every study tour program includes the following activities:

1.Tour of Campus, ZAFU, and Lin’ an City

Students will be familiarized with the campus and the host city to ensure they settle quickly.

2.Chinese Language Class

Chinese language classes with different levels and different formats will be arranged so that students can improve their Chinese language skills rapidly.

3.Chinese Cultural Class

Students will experience traditional Chinese culture, such as Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Tai chi, Floral Arranging, Tea Serving Art, Paper-cutting etc.

4.Entertainment with Chinese Students

Students will experience colorful cultural activities in ZAFU. At the same time students will have opportunities to display their artistic talent and their own country’s culture.

5. Excursions

Students can tour the famous scenic and cultural spots in and around Hangzhou metropolis in the Yangtze River Delta Region.

6. Long-Distance Travel

Long-distance travel such as Shanghai tour and Huangshan Mountain etc. will be provided upon request.

NOTE:Any group from Institutions or Educational Agencies may choose some of the above classes, lectures,and travel according to group requirements and decide the number of hours. ZAFU will promptly determine the appropriate costs, notify the groups involved, and make necessary arrangements. The Total price includes fees for classes and activities,lodgeand board on campus (two-student shared room), tickets to place of interest, excursion bus fare, pick-up,send-off,out-of-campus meal fees. Miscellaneous expenses are not included in this price.
