BIRTHAND FUNCTIONS: ISEA was founded in March 2016 by the first English Economics students according to the direction and vision of Aquila Ng’onga（李 杰）who is the current president.

Being the first students in this regard, there was a need for students to be organized in tackling together challenges they were facing as well as to elevate their enthusiasm in the course.

It was founded with the view to perform the following:

•To arrange tutorials and group studies arrangement that would allow outside classroom interaction, research and also promote unity and exchange of ideas between classmates.

•Arrange meetings between Chinese Students of the same major to allow for interaction and exchange of ideas that would improve performance and attitudes.

•Arrange quizzes, seminars and debates upon economic theories and policies

•Arrange for visits to other universities in China.

•Orient Freshmen international Students.

•Organize student’s party.

•Motivate Students thus reducing on late coming and improving attendance.

•Assist Re-seating students academically.

ACTIVITIES: In a few months of existence, the association (with the help of the internationalcollege) has managed to obtain an extra course of mathematics to allow the students build a mathematical foundation as they deal with multiple courses demanding mathematical skills along the way to graduation. T-shits have been designed to represent universality and distinction in the university. Recently the Association held an orientation meeting with the September intake. The association is currently working on a magazine which will be a reflection of the journey of the economists as they conclude their freshman year.

SUSTAINABILITY:While working closely with the internationalcollegeand the students effectively, ISEA continues to develop and evolve constantly with the purpose of delivering the best results as we remain trend setters in exhibiting the power of ingenuity.
