On Thursday of 12 April the MYUN organization chamber in a bid to lead by example, appreciate the leadership of the school took to the international college building to clean up the sitting and lounging area. On this same day, prior to the lounge area cleanup some members of MYUN in partnership with the Linshui community headed by Mr. Yao took to the streets of Lin’an to clean the environment. The cleanup campaign was later televised on Lin’an news where the founder sir Abel Chihambakwe and co founder Mr. McCarthy Savanhu of the organization were given a chance to speak about Modern Youth United Nations and how important is it to save the world’s environment .

四月十二日星期四，MYUN（现代青年联合会）本着树立榜样，回馈学校的精神，清理打扫了国际学院学院楼及周边建筑。在同一天，MYUN的部分成员还与林水社区的居民一道，走上街头清理环境。本次活动在晚些时候还出现在临安电视新闻中，MYUN的联合创建人阿贝和麦卡锡在新闻中简单介绍了该组织的环保宗旨，呼吁和强调保护环境的重要性。
