To ensure the safety of foreign students in China during the summer vacation, we hereto make the notice that include the rules and regulations that foreign students must abide by.

1.Always carry the passport and student ID with you.AfterAugust 10^th, all the foreign students must register with their passport and student ID at thegatehousebefore they enter the university, otherwise they will be rejected to enter.

2.Informthe collegeaboutyourvacation plan.All the foreign students must inform the foreign student office about your vacation plans before July10^th. Those that will fly back home must register at the student office with your boarding information beforeJuly10^th. If you are planning to leaveLin’an during the vacation, do inform theStudentOffice about your trip plan, the specific address of your destination and the phone number.You will have to take the picture of your ticket and send it to the college also. If you are going to places other thanHangzhou, do not forget to go to the local public security bureau for temporary residence registration. We suggest you to stay away from dangerous places such as mountains, reservoirs, rivers and remote areas with weak signals.

3.Keep in contact with the college.All the foreign students please keep in contact with us (by phone call, text message, wechat, etc.) and respond promptly. Let us know immediately if your phone number is changed so that we can confirm your safety. Any deliberate evasion, such as shutting down the phone, ignoring the message we send, will be dealt with accordingly. Punishment ranging from warning to cancellation of scholarship. In cases where your cellphone is powered off or has overdue bill, please inform the messenger and take actions as soon as possible to restore your connection with the outside world.

4.Residence registration.Do not change your address during the vacation. If you do (move to the outside, change the rental), please apply to the student office first, then you maymove the housewith the college permission. Once settle down, you must go to theJinbei police station to register your new residence. The local management department will do random residence check during the vacation. Any student who are found to leave the house empty without informing the college his/her whereabouts, or move to other places but failed to register to the police station, or commit any other violation of the laws, will be dealt with accordingly by the Chinese laws.

5. Do not hesitate to contact us when you find yourself in emergency.We will provide assistance as soon as we can. Do abide by the rules and regulations listed above so that you may have apleasantvacation.
