To fight against the COCID-19 pandemic, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education set up a Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship online program to carry out Chinese training, providing overseas learners with opportunities to continue learning Chinese. At present, application for 2021 spring semester online program is open.
ELIGIBILITY
a) Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens between the ages of 16 and 35 (as of March1st, 2021).
b) Applicants shall be in goodphysical and mental condition, with good academic performance and conduct.
c) All applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3)and an HSKK test score is required.
d) Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa are not eligible.
SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE
The scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee for the spring semester (form March to July), 2021, HSK test fee and HSKK test fee.
Scholarship holdersare required to complete online registration within stipulated period, and start online classes according to the teaching arrangement of ZAFU.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
a) Please log on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Application System (http://cis.chinese.cn/account/login), and register an account.
b) Fill in the application form, choose one-semester online program in the scholarship category, learning period and the host institution (Zhejiang A&F University).
c) Upload application materials online, and click SUBMIT.
d) Check the application information, track the application progress, comments and result. Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutionto go through theonline enrollment procedures.
The application deadline(Beijing Time) is Dec 31st.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS for SCHOLARSHIP
All applicants shall provide:
a) a Scanned copy of passport photo page;
b) a scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK test reports (within the two-year validity) ;
c) a reference letter by the head of the recommending institutions;
d) a certification of the highest education diploma and an official transcript;
e) and other supportive documents such as certificate for English Proficiency and awards winning.
